Rachel is an experienced Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor and has a particular interest in working with Children and Young People. Rachel believes that children and young people are able to navigate difficult and complex issues in their lives, when offered a safe and emotionally supportive therapeutic space. Children and young people are then able to journey through and past problems by creating the foundations for a prosperous life.
Rachel founded Headroom (Children & Young People’s Counselling) in Dunfermline in 2007 and provides Project Management to the service and Clinical Supervisor for the Headroom counsellors. Rachel also runs a private practice working as a Clinical Supervisor.
Rachel has been a lecturer and tutor on 2 Diploma in Counselling Courses based in Edinburgh and is now developing post qualification training for professionals working therapeutically with teenagers.
