Christine has over 20 years' experience of working successfully with individuals and organisations as a coach, facilitator, and trainer. In her work she draws on a background as a research scientist, expedition leader, Gestalt counsellor & supervisor, trainer, and artist. Christine brings to coaching a depth of coaching experience with a wide variety of people at all organisational levels, employees, managers, senior managers, CEO's and trustees/directors.
As a coach, Christine creates and holds a space where you can bring all of yourself – thoughts, feelings, and sensations. She brings her curiosity, a love of discovery and the ability to look at things from different perspectives and support for people to experiment with new ways of thinking and doing things. Christine is comfortable working with metaphor and in other imaginative ways (if appropriate) and can sit with complexity, working with what emerges in the moment whilst also holding the coaching goal in mind.
Her coaching is underpinned by the theory and practice of Gestalt. As a Gestalt coach, she adopts a holistic approach, recognising many facets of the human condition: thoughts, feelings, behaviours, perceptions, and spirit. She offers a quality and engaging relationship that supports the coachee to become more of who they are. It is a relationship forged on openness, honesty, respect, and trust. Christine brings an optimistic stance to her practice - believing people are doing the best they can with what they know and have at this moment in time.
Christine aims to facilitate transformational change, a kind of change that is more than skin deep. She not only focuses on behavioural change but on supporting an increased awareness and understanding of self.
