Monica Mochar
Counsellor and Counselling Supervisor
Monica is an experienced counsellor with a PG Dip. Person -Centred Counselling from the University of Strathclyde (2017). She is a qualified supervisor with a Cert. COSCA Supervision (2022). In addition, Monica is MBACP Registered.
Monica works as a person-centred counsellor and supervisor and her experience to date has been very wide ranging. She specialises in counselling adult survivors of childhood trauma as well as survivors of domestic abuse. Monica uses therapeutic art and has facilitated art groups. She can offer a creative approach in her supervision practice.
Monica worked for a charity for seven years (Wellbeing Scotland) – first as a counsellor and then as Head of Counselling for West Lothian. Monica now works part time as a Counselling Manager for Rowan Consultancy and case manages counsellors across Scotland delivering Employee Assistance Counselling and private counselling.
Alongside this role, she continues to work as a counsellor and supervisor through her private practice.
