Counsellor and Supervisor

Mark is an experienced person-centred counsellor who has worked in the NHS and universities, in West Scotland. His counselling practice started in 2010 working as an addiction counsellor in Glasgow. Prior to counselling, his background was in social care and crisis mental health. Areas of interests include working with clients and therapists who are neurodiverse, engaging in telehealth care and enhancing the accessibility of therapeutic support online.

Since 2020, Mark has been an associate lecturer at the Open University, teaching undergraduate psychology, and counselling courses. Mark is also employed as an online moderator on a mental health peer support platform that has members based in Europe, North America, and the Australian continent. Additionally, he runs a private practice, working as a Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. As a BACP accredited counsellor, Mark adheres to their professional ethics and codes of practice.
