Counsellor and Supervisor

MSc in Counselling, PG Dip in Pluralistic Counselling, PQD in Counselling Children and Young People, COSCA Certificate Counselling Supervision. MBACP (Accred), Certificate in Working with Trauma, SFBT Certificate.

Christine is a trained Pluralistic counsellor working with adults, young people and families. Working collaboratively, Christine believes each client is unique, has individual needs, expectations and goals.

Her practice is centred around the core conditions of person-centred theory, believing that the therapeutic relationship is key in supporting clients achieve their desires.

Additionally, Christine works with Transactional Analysis, Existential and Interpersonal theories and incorporates creative methods to help clients communicate and work through difficult issues.

Taking a holistic view of clients, working outdoors with nature, walking, running and any form of exercise are strong motivators for Christine’s practice, dependent on client ability and/or wishes.

Christine has experience working with adults and young people who have concerns around substance misuse, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD and ASD.

Christine has previously worked in the voluntary sector, school-based counsellor to pupils and staff, University tutor and as a senior counsellor in a college setting.

Christine has her own private practice.
