About Rowan Consultancy
Rowan Consultancy’s Background
Rowan was founded in 1997 in Perth by Rachel Weiss and Christine Partridge.
We are now a team of sessional counsellors and therapists operating throughout Scotland, delivering counselling and psychotherapy to private individuals, couples, young people and to employees through employee counselling contracts.
Rowan also provides mediation, supervision, coaching, critical incident support and training. We aim to foster reflection and self-awareness, in order to promote growth in our clients both individual and corporate.
Rowan has been assessed and gained entry onto the Register of Recognised Counselling Organisations by COSCA, the professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland. Rowan abides by COSCA’s code of ethics and that of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
Rowan has over 40 experienced counsellors throughout Scotland, offering online, telephone and face-to-face counselling for adults. Some of our counsellors also specialise in working with children and young people. All Rowan counsellors are accredited or trained to at least diploma level and have extensive experience of working with a wide range of people and issues.

I started at Rowan at the beginning of 2024 and enjoy being part of a team that support each other and enjoy helping our clients. Office Manager is a very varied role helping our lovely clients, counsellors and students on a daily basis and doing all things admin within the business. I enjoy the balance this job provides allowing me to utilise my skills within the workplace while also bringing up my family out with work life.
Angie McDonough
Office Manager
I joined Rowan in August 2024 after many years working within the NHS as a medical secretary. The contrast in roles, for example being able to help our clients immediately with support from our counsellors, makes the working day enjoyable with a ‘feel good’ factor thrown in. I’ve settled in well with the team and look forward to providing a friendly, client-focused service for years to come.
Christina Morrice

I joined Rowan in October 2024 as an Office Manager, having spent the last 26 years providing administrative and secretarial support to businesses in the Perthshire area. I really enjoy the variety of the role and, of course, providing a helpful service to our wonderful clients. Outside of work I am kept very busy and active with my young family and two dogs.
