Aileen McCormack

Counsellor, Trainer and Supervisor

Aileen McCormack has been practicing as a Counsellor, Supervisor, Lecturer and Trainer since 2015.  She supervises Individuals, both counsellors and non-counsellors, and facilitates Supervision, Reflective Practice and Cancer Support groups. Aileen is also a trained Laughter Yoga Leader and Comedy Improvisor.

Aileen has extensive experience in training and development work, having taught and delivered training across Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Edinburgh and Fife, both in person and online. Her areas of interest include Grief & Loss, Stress & Burnout and LGBTQ Awareness.

Aileen is interested in working with individuals and groups to help them perform better through development of listening and communication skills, learning to be with difference, understanding and responding to conflict and feedback.

Aileen spent four years working as a Counsellor for Crossreach, Glasgow and two years with the Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Foundation in Manchester. Prior to her counselling career she was employed within the homeless sector and a Macmillan Cancer Support funded programme.
