Jackie is an MBACP Pluralistic counsellor who works with adults, young people, and children. With a pluralistic approach, her practice is flexible and tailored to the unique needs of each individual, combining a foundational person-centred approach with elements of cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, and integrative therapies. Jackie has special interests in psycho-education, trauma counselling, and somatic approaches. She believes in integrating the mind-body connection.
Jackie has an extensive career background in community education, social work, advocacy management, various counselling organisations, and local government strategic policy settings. In her private counselling practice in Fife, Jackie provides counselling, and clinical supervision for counsellors and a range of other professionals (privately, and on a contract basis for other public, private, and voluntary organisations), offering exploration, support and guidance in service of their work with clients, etc.
