Who is this course for?
The taster day is for anyone interested in learning more about our COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate. You will gain a better understanding of the Counselling Skills Certificate course and get a chance to practice some counselling skills yourself.
Aims and Objectives
At the end of this day you will:
- Know the basics of counselling skills
- Have practiced using simple counselling and listening skills
- Realise what your strengths are and which areas you want to develop
Progression
This taster day can be done as a standalone course or as the first step towards module 1 of our COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate.
Our Trainers
All Rowan Trainers are experienced trainers as well as practising counsellors and have used counselling skills in other professions. The direct counselling practice of the tutors informs and enhances the training offered by Rowan. Each group will consist of between six and eighteen trainees and are taught by two trainers in larger groups.
